Peter has twenty-nine years of direct experience in resort property management, vacation lodging operations and real estate in Summit County , Colorado and in Jackson Hole , Wyoming .

A graduate of Denver University with a degree in Social Science/Education, Peter also holds a minor in Business Administration and a Certified Property Manager's Certificate from the Institute of Real Estate Management .

He is a licensed real estate broker and is active in the Institute of Real Estate Management and Community Associations Institute. Peter is past President of the Town of Dillon Economic Development Committee and is a founding member of the National Association of Realtors, Property Management Division. He currently chairs the Dillon Economic Development Advisory Committee.

Peter directs the day-to-day activities of the company, and interacts with all the property managers on a regular basis.

Peggy Beeler
Born in California , Peggy moved to Nashville , TN in 1980 and started a career in Healthcare in 1980. After 10 years employment at Vanderbilt Hospital/Medical Center she teamed up with a small group of entrepreneurs forming a Hospital Financial Management Consulting company. She spent 10 years building the company from 6 employees to 680. In 1999 she decided to move to Colorado as she had been investing in Summit County Real Estate for over 15 years and decided to obtain her Real Estate license and manage her own real estate investments. She also purchased Summit Resort Group in 2000 and sold the company to Peter Schutz in April 2005. Now the Managing Broker for Summit Resort Group, Peggy enjoys working with clients all over the world. Her hobbies include: skiing, tennis, golf and enjoying walks with her Golden Retrievers. She serves on the Board of Directors for 2 Condominium Associations in Summit County .

Joleen Meyer
Joleen Meyer, Property Manager/Broker Associate has been with SRG for the past 3 years. Joleen began investing in real estate in the Summit County area 9 years ago. She is a Kansas native who attended the University of Kansas , Washburn University , and Wichita State University . Her corporate expertise relates to product management and strategic planning with a Fortune 500 company. These responsibilities placed her throughout the Midwest as well as in New York City for a stint with AT & T. Since her early retirement, she has owned and managed her own resort real estate company at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri . Joleen is an active licensed real estate broker, assisting with the website management and property management activities, as well. She has been an officer on the Board of the Dillon Bay Condominiums, President of the Corinthian Hill Property Owners Association Board of Directors and is currently the Vice President of the Corinthian Hill Property Owners Association and the Chairperson of the Architectural Control Committee.

Dan lives with his wife, Patti, 2 daughters who are in High School, and his famous rescue dogs.  Dan is a Top Producer in real estate every year, the Chairman of Summit County Christian School Board, and a Mission Coordinator for Summit County Search and Rescue

Maja Liotta
The Liotta family made the High Country home two years ago, trekking all the way from the East Coast of  Florida.  As a native of Maine,  I jokingly boast that we are an “upwardly mobile” family-  ascending from sea level to 9,000 feet  in a very short amount of time to plant ourselves here in our new home in the heart of the Rockies.  Our daughters, Anja, age 6 and Nora, age 3  both thoroughly enjoy the dramatic change in lifestyle-  from beach babies to snow-bunnies,  they are aspiring skiers much like my husband and I as we embrace all the hiking, biking and array of snow-sports that God’s country has to offer.  In my leisure time, I love mountain biking,  road biking  and family camping trips in the summer months,  telemark skiing, snowboarding and Nordic skiing when the snow flies.  Someday I  will  renew my love for watersports,  namely surfing but there has yet to be a swell on Lake Dillon. 

In the professional and educational arena,  I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Chicago in 1996, prior to that I completed  coursework for the Baccalaureate from Lycee Bellevue in Lyon, France.  Having worked many years in post-secondary private education,   I left the field to raise my daughters  and take on the task of full time mom.  For the past 6 years,  I  attempted the great discipline of balancing housework, cooking and  financial management.  Trying to keep everyone happy, fed and in clean clothes was humbling..   I have yet to teach a two year old how to share (graciously) but still love the challenges of motherhood. 

We love our life here in Summit County and it would be my pleasure to assist you in finding  your home in the mountains:  a  place to hang your hat  (or bike,  or skis,  or climbing gear….)  If your interest is selling,  integrity and client satisfaction is job #1.
