Experience the spirit of the Old West in Frisco where men in 1880 named the town after San Francisco in hopes of striking it as big as they did there. A narrow dirt path in the 1880s has grown into the bustling Main Street, but the Historic Park preserves its Old West heritage.
Driving Directions to Frisco From Denver
Frisco is located approximately 75 miles west of Denver in the heart of Summit County - and is within 15 minutes of world class ski resorts: Loveland, A-Basin, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Breckenridge. Frisco is off of I-70 just past the Continental Divide at the Eisenhower Tunnel. From Denver, take Interstate highway I-70 West to Exit's 203 and 201. The Town of Frisco is located directly off of the interstate to your left.
Denver International Airport to I-70 West
Go West on Pena Blvd. (Turns into Airport Blvd.) for approximately 10 miles. Take the I-70 West on-ramp.
